Minimum Age:

17 years of age

 

Privileges:

Fly all single engine, non-high performance, VFR land airplanes with visual reference to a layer of cloud instead of the earth's surface

 

Transport Canada Requirements:

 

1) Must have a Private Pilot Licence.

 

2) Total of 15 hours instrument.

   (Instrument flight training already accomplished in obtaining a Private Pilot Licence may be credited)

 

4) Valid Category I or III aviation medical.
